Pilot physiological monitoring

The Flight Sensing Shirt, for monitoring pilot physiology, is developed within an AEOLUS innovation programme performed by TNO, Holst Centre and RNLAF/CML. Physiological monitoring sensors are integrated in the pilot’s undershirt with printable, flexible electronics. This innovative approach allows for very accurate measurements over sustained periods of time (also under high-G) with minimal comfort burden.

The programme is funded by NL MoD/ Science & Technology and TNO at the Human Tech Campus in Soesterberg.
